Castles Comparison; England, France and Spain!

 

For Year 2's topic of 'Castles' they linked with schools in France and Spain to compare and contrast castles - all classes visited local castles on school trips!

 

England - Cringle Brook visited  Clitheroe Castle in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

​

France -  Our link school in France, visited The Château de Caen or 'The castle of Guillaume le Conquerant'   - the castle of William the Conqueror : King of England!

 

It was really interesting seeing how different the castles looked and learning about their histories.
